Furthermore, Canon has used subwavelength structure coatings on the lens elements that prevent flare and ghosting, even in backlit conditions.

To complement the optical structure and resulting professional image quality is a fast and reliable Nano USM autofocus system. This mechanism not only offers incredible performance, locking onto your subject with speed and ease but also offers a completely silent operation that will be ideal for those situations where discretion is key. In addition, the lens is equipped with a strong and steady 5.5-stop image stabiliser that ensures level, shake-free shots even in low-light, handheld shooting. This stabilisation can be further increased to 7-stops worth of compensation when paired with a camera body that is fitted with an IBIS system.

What is this lens good for?
This lens offers an ultra-wide angle of view throughout its zoom range. This range lends itself to the likes of architectural, landscape, street and travel photography. Its constant f4 aperture, combined with the wide-angle of view also makes this an ideal lens for astrophotography where you want to capture a huge scene and let in as much light as possible.
Can I use an extender on this lens?
This lens does not allow for compatibility with lens extenders.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR (representative) on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
