Know The Rules!

The UK’s drone rules are based on the risk of the flight – where you fly, the proximity to other people, and the size and weight of your drone. Any drone with a camera will require an Operator ID, regardless of weight. However, an additional Flyer ID is required for drones of 250g and over.

Other qualifications are still needed for commercial drone use, and even then, this doesn't mean you can fly your drone anywhere. Ensure you know the rules and consult the Drone Code before you fly; if you want to fly commercially, you must take the PfCO CAA exam (Permission for Commercial Operations).
