Frequently Asked Questions
- Which Fujifilm cameras are full-frame?
-
Fujifilm does not produce any full-frame cameras currently. The mirrorless X-series cameras have APS-C sensors (smaller than full-frame) and the GFX cameras have medium-format sensors (larger than full frame).
- Do all Fujifilm Instax cameras use the same film?
-
No – there are three types of Instax film: Instax Mini, Instax Square and Instax Wide. Your camera will only accept one of these. Check out our main Instax page where we run through the key differences between these types of film.
- How long do Fujifilm cameras last?
-
All individual models vary of course, but Fujifilm cameras are extremely well made across the board, and if you take care of yours, there’s no reason it shouldn’t last for years. Some photographers are still happily using the Fujifilm X-T2, which was released in 2016!
- Which Fujifilm cameras have IBIS (in-body image stabilisation)?
-
Only a few Fujifilm cameras offer the sophisticated IBIS (in-body image stabilisation) system. The first to come with it was the high-end, video-oriented Fujifilm X-H1, but it has since been included on the Fujifilm X100VI, Fujifilm X-T4 and Fujifilm X-S10. In the medium format GFX series, the Fujifilm GFX 100 and Fujifilm GFX 100S also have IBIS.
- Do Fujifilm Instax cameras come with film?
-
Generally an Instax camera will come with a pack of 10 or so shots. However, it is always worth double-checking before you buy!
