High-Quality Imagery

The Fujifilm X-T5 provides the highest image quality in the X series yet thanks to the 40.2-megapixel X-Trans 5 HR CMOS sensor. It uses an improved image processing algorithm and pixel structure to deliver advanced image resolution and efficiently absorb more light. The native ISO has been extended to a range from ISO 125 to 12800, so you’ll always get superb results packed with detail. A Pixel Shift multi-shot mode delivers unprecedented detail by shooting 20 separate frames to create a single 160MP image.

You’ll never miss out on fast-moving action with the X-T5’s lightning-quick shutter speeds. A maximum electronic shutter speed of 1/180,000s and a maximum mechanical shutter speed of 1/8000s allows you to capture quality images no matter how fast your subject is. A lag time of just 35ms gives you an almost instantaneous response when the shutter is released so you don’t miss that crucial moment. The X-T5 also records images at up to 15fps with the mechanical shutter or 20fps with the electronic shutter.

Powerful, Practical Support

This camera is equipped with numerous features that make photography and videography effortless. The X-T5 has a powerful in-body image stabilisation (IBIS) system that dramatically reduces camera shake - even in low-light conditions. The system works across five axes to prevent different camera movements and can be used alongside the X-T5’s subject-detection autofocus which uses deep-learning AI to track humans, animals and vehicles.

A detailed electronic viewfinder (EVF) makes tracking moving subjects easier than ever thanks to its 3.69 million dots that provide a bright, vibrant display. The EVF also has 0.8x magnification to easily view images. This camera also features a Smooth Skin effect, which automatically smooths different skin tones, and Auto White Balance that uses AI to accurately recognise light source colours to determine the white balance.

Outstanding Video Functions

As well as providing outstanding photographic images, the X-T5 can also record stunning footage too. The camera can record up to 6.2K resolution at 30 frames per second in 4:2:2 10-bit colour so your videos will feature high-quality details as well as vibrant, true-to-life colours.

There is also a 2x digital zoom function that adds extra versatility without dropping quality thanks to the high video resolution. An expanded dynamic range of 13+ stops is possible with F-Log and F-Log2 recording, and the camera can externally record Apple ProRes RAW and Blackmagic RAW codecs for high-end productions.

Effortless Operation

The X-T5 camera has been designed for photographers and videographers to get the best out of their imagery in the easiest way possible. The camera body features the classic X series design with dials for key functions - including ISO, shutter speed and exposure compensation - which are quick and easy to set. A three-inch, LCD touchscreen monitor can tilt in three directions so you can get the perfect view no matter the position of the camera or yourself. Even with all of these features, the X-T5 is 50g lighter than the X-T4 and has a compact size comparable to the original X-T1 - letting you effortlessly use the camera in handheld and creative shoots.
