What is the difference between the ASA and ISO rating?

Both the ASA and ISO numbers are measurements of the film speed or a film’s light sensitivity. The ASA scale was created by the American Standards Association and the ISO was created by the International Organization for Standardization. ASA is no longer widely used to measure film speed, but is the same as ISO. ISO scale is the commonly used scale now and ISO 640 is the same as ASA 640.

How should the film be stored?

The unexposed film should be stored in its original packaging at a cool, dry place; away from high temperature and high humidity.
