FAQs:
What does the ISO 640 speed mean?
The ISO number or film speed is a measurement of the light sensitivity of a film. The higher the ISO number is, the higher the light sensitivity of that film is which allows shooting in low-light conditions. This film has a high speed of ISO 640 which renders high contrast images in low-light conditions and can capture fast-moving subjects.
What precautions are to be taken for the photo development?
Since an instant film is sensitive to strong light, it is recommended to allow the Polaroid picture to develop in shade. After the film exposure, shield it from strong light and even after the development, the picture should be kept away from strong lights to maintain the high saturation and details of the image. Do not shake or bend the photo when it is developing.
How does the temperature affect the image result?
Although the higher speed of the film allows you to shoot in low-light conditions, there is a recommended temperature range in which the images yield the best results. Polaroid films work the best between 13-degree Celsius and 28-degree Celsius. If shot below the temperature range, photos tend to emerge over-exposed and lack colour contrast, developing a blue tint. Shooting at a high temperature makes the photos develop a yellow/red tint. It is recommended to allow the pictures to develop at room temperature whenever shooting at a temperature out of this range.
How can the Polaroid pictures be scanned?
The Polaroid pictures are easy to scan using either of these methods: digital camera scanning, flatbed scanning, sheetfed scanning, and app-based smartphone scanning; the last one being the most convenient.
Which cameras is this film compatible with?
This Polaroid colour instant film can be used with most of the modern instant cameras. It is specifically designed to be used with the Polaroid 600-series and i-Type cameras, such as Impulse, Impossible Instant Lab, Impossible i-Type, SLR680, i-type, and Polaroid 600 cameras.
