The Rode SC4 Adapter connects microphones with a 3.5mm output to TRRS smartphones and tablets. With its high-quality shield; it is perfect for connecting the Rode VideoMic to an iPhone for audio recording with the Rode Rec app for iOS. The grey colour coded, gold-plated contacts are indicative of the TRRS output. The SC4 is designed for use with Apple iOS devices; however, it is also compatible with most of the Android devices. Please note that the SC4 works with stereo microphones, with the left and right channels combined into a mono signal to become compatible with TRRS.
